Lead or support Basic Engineering/FEED – DFS phase

Develop the optimum Contracting Strategy to ensure performance and schedule respect at minimum cost and highest probability of success
Develop a mobilization plan
Develop a set of key value engineering actions that will boost the profitability of the Project
Determine the optimum Engineering/EPC experts that could bid for the job
Perform the Call For Tenders
Negotiate the contracts to maximise value and minimum cost to Company
Supervise the works and control the “excesses” of the contractors to limit the solutions to what is needed and is the optimum economic while remaining the most sustainable solutions
Ensure that Engineering include the operator’s vision ensuring minimum operation costs while not compromising on Capex
Minimisation of reworks and Change orders
Supervision of the key service and vendor contracts
Supervision and focus on minimization of the Capex and Opex estimates
Preparation of dossiers for project financing and insurance technical dossiers
Preparation of Virtual Data Rooms and of management, technical and/or economic presentations for Investors

Revisit the optimum Contracting Strategy
In principal, attempt to roll-over from FEED to EPPC
Define and negotiate the main optimum EPCC or individual contract parameters: incentives, performance guaranties, liquidated damages, liabilities, warranties, default, etc… to ensure the success of the works on cost and on time
Supervise closely the Project Execution: Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning
Minimise reworks and change orders
Prepare all decision gate dossiers including Final Investment Decision dossiers
Prepare counter claim registers to protect the Company
Analyse in detail the project schedules at the highest detailed level available to identify optimization and change of construction methods or any way accelerate the project, compensate and recover delays at minimum cost
Prepare Operation plan, the operation team and training plan
Monitor in detail the Project progress developing set of KPIs to be respected by each contractor and subcontractors

Analyse production / operational parameters
Develop, implement and monitor optimization plans for the production and operation parameters
Optimisation of plant operating procedures and general opex
Optimisation of administration and services, with optimized management of storages, logistics, road traffic and staff control

Assess status and develop Key Performance Indicators adjusted to your business sector and objectives
Set Targets and monitoring means to control the Targets achievement
Elaborate and coordinate the initial GHG evaluations status
Define a GHG reduction plan, its KPIs and the means to monitor its implementation
