CONTRACTS MANAGER : 

  • Providing efficient and high-quality support to the operational and market teams, throughout the Win and Deliver work cycle.

  • Leading on bid and project governance including ownership of escalated approvals systems.

CONTRACTS MANAGER :

  • Responsible for the contractual management of a number of South West of England Energy Hub large scale Housing Retrofit program.

  • First point of contact for all contractual and commercial issues to the Contract. Leading the Contract and commercial negotiations and workshops.

  • Ensured that the Delivery Organizations working on the program, delivered work in line with Contract.

  • Responsible for overseeing the Supplier costs and budget management for the program.

  • Undertake frequent Contract review meetings with Suppliers, agreeing corrective actions and amending Contract where needed.

  • Supported the various Suppliers to ensure that the data and information submitted for the regular reporting satisfied the contract reporting requirement.

  • Ensured that Contractors and Sub-contractors maintain compliance with the scheme requirements, health and safety rules while ensuring that the business is protected against fraudulent activity.

  • Drove value by utilizing the use of performance metrics and success criteria.

 


BAKER HUGHES - UK 

FUNCTIONAL EXCELLENCE LEADER : 

  • Actively manage the development and implementation of commercial processes to be in line with business requirement.

  • Ensured that the project teams, and all stakeholders feeding into the project team conform to the contract reporting processes.

  • Set guidelines and Key performance indicators to monitor progress and adherence to the commercial process.

LEAD- EPC CONTRACTS MANAGER

  • Effectively manage commercial aspects of the operational Contracts and Services Contract along with projects closures for use in commercial analysis, estimating, and lessons learnt reports.

  • Submit the monthly contract & commercial reports to overall GE commercial manager and leadership team.

  • Check the closure of identified cost along with scheduled risks and opportunities across the business.

  • Develop a plan operational contracts placement, extension and award.

  • Identified opportunities for cost efficiencies and estimated value for money. Ensure accuracy and up-to-date capture of all commercial related lessons learned on the executed project.

  • Oversee contract performance in conjunction with the nominated customer’s contract’s representative.

  • Managed the approval and screening of items for shipping which required export controls.

  • Supported the appointed contract representative in the overall management of operational contracts.

  • Led project handover from the project and the after-sales service contracts team on both new and closing projects as needed.

  • Negotiated for the resolution of claims and arising commercial issues during and after the project life cycle.

CONTRACTS MANAGER 

  • Ensured the invoicing process of variations and cash as per contract, and that the project maintains a positive cash flow.

  • Owned and maintained the GE Variation order database for the project.

  • Handled all the components of variations proposal including creation, internal approval and submission in accordance with GE and contract requirements.

  • Reported to Senior Management regarding updates to monthly contract management reporting documents and inputs for budgets and forecasts as required.

  • Closely supported the Project Manager in managing all variations and amendments to contract along with project risk through regularly revisiting risk and driving action to mitigate the risk effects.

  • Headed the project team on operations in full accordance with GE's quality management system with Contractual issues and claims with clients and vendors.

  • Led the project handover from the bid team including activities of project start-up and contract familiarisation.
