Project: SHAHEEN, S-OIL, South Korea (Front-End Engineering Design FEED) {TIC $7 Billion}

  • Successfully developed modularisation & contracting strategy for modules; and conducted constructability to optimise the project execution with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP). Proactively project managed critical technical issues.

  • Develop ITB strategy, scope and clarification to bidders, along with EPC milestone schedule and estimated TIC cost.

PROJECT CONSTRUCTION MANAGER - Module & Interface

INTEGRATION MANAGER (2019 – 2021) {Est. TIC $21 Billion}

Project: Arctic LNG 2 (ALNG2/Novatek), Paris, Moscow (FEED & EPC)

Promoted through roles of increasing scope and accountability to PROJECT MANAGER - MODULE & INTERFACE MANAGER

  • Successfully saved CAPEX $100M by means of optimised solutions, i.e., GBS location and thermal insulation.

  • Commended for challenging EPC contractor (Technip) design and achieving optimisation on ALP platforms piperack, saving 1K+ tonnes of material and 20k site person-hours.

  • Optimised key interface sequence activity / constructability on GBS arrival and hook-up to onshore facility in support of first start-up operation, reducing start-up schedule by 2 weeks (potential LNG revenue gain of $70M).

  • Successfully developed Modularisation and Topside (TS) fabrication strategy for 14 modules of total weight circa 162,500T, on GBS with modules weighing from 7K tonnes up to 15.5K tonnes, including data centre (CCR).

KBR (SHELL/STATOIL) | UK, London | Norway

PROGRAM STUDY MANAGER – KBR

Project: Shell IPT Client – Shell / Statoil​

  • Successfully diminished costs 3% TIC for LNG construction (site & camp) and project engineering.

  • Effectively optimised constructability study and Gas-to-Liquid (GTL) layout, resulting in 2% reduction in TIC.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER – KBR  Canada | Russia | Azerbaijan   

Project: Repsol /Gazprom Neft /SOCAR (PMC & Pre-FEED)

  • As Construction Manager (Pre-FEED) for Saint John LNG  terminal in New Brunswick, Canada for Repsol, developed feasibility study and established modularisation strategy to attain optimum constructability with input to EPC cost estimate. Appointed as Construction Manager (PMC) for SOCAR OGPC FEED project in Baku Azerbaijan, and managed review/critique of construction deliverables from FEED Contractor. Validated Class-II estimate in line with protocols.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER – KBR | UK, London      

Project: Proposals (Various Clients)

  • Aided over 20 onshore proposals bids to value of $2B for refinery, LNG, and GTL. Offered support to proposals and marketing for over five proposals estimated at $1B for FPSO, jackets, FLNG, and topside; won three proposals. Brainstormed and implemented construction strategy for Gorgon expansion project (GEP).

SENIOR CONSTRUCTION LEAD 

Project: BPWND – West Nile Delta (EPC), Client – BP {TIC $9 Billion}

  • ​Determined and developed scope of work prior to conducting technical evaluations. Ideated and delivered construction execution strategy and conducted constructability review in collaboration with project engineering.

  • Offered input on level 2/3 schedule and provided project EPC cost estimate.

  • Championed contract negotiation on site and coordinated tasks with subcontractor in early construction phase.

  • Promoted health & safety behavioral culture on site.

MW KELLOGG (KBR) | Australia, Barrow Island

ASSISTANT TECHNICAL SERVICE MANAGER

Project: Gorgon LNG, MWKL (FEED and EPCm), Client – Chevron (CVX) {TIC $54 Billion}

  • Project execution of multibillion dollar LNG project in Australia. Managed construction team consisting of 3 superintendents, 9 supervisors, and 3 execution contractors for temporary facilities, civil, and site preparation. Identified key opportunities to reduce 40K onsite person-hours by maximising preassembly scope.

  • Advanced fabrication/modularisation strategy and executed technical reviews estimated at $4B. Ensured day-to-day technical challenges such as RFI/TQ were resolved in timely manner, and regularly conducted on-site constructability.

  • Management of advance work packaging (AWP), through path of construction (CWP & IWP). Acted as Site Manager for site drainage $20M, delivered within budget and on schedule.​​

MW Kellogg (KBR/JGC) | UK, London | Norway 

PRINCIPAL CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER  

Project: KEP2010 MWKL (EPCa), Client – Statoil {TIC NOK 6.5 Billion}​

  • Appointed as Construction Lead to develop construction documents, spearhead numerous constructability reviews, and oversee logistics-in reviews for three brownfield projects, including shutdown scope of work, transportation, and installation strategy.
