He created MINERAL ENERGIES, with Peter Bridgeland in 2023 to fulfill the numerous requests received for project expertise with a huge network of competent professionals.

Since 2022, their activities concentrated on energy transition in LIVISTA ENERGY EUROPE as Administrator and Project Management Team (PMT) Consultant since May 2022, allowing this new company and the energy transition industry to benefit from over 30 years of experience to structure and deliver the most ESG sustainable Lithium refineries in Europe contributing to the Circular Economy and Energetic Independence of Europe. LIVISTA is about to launch FEED for a project, which CAPEX is estimated at this stage at € 1 bn for its first plant.

Before that, Jean-Marc worked 24 years in TOTAL S.A. (now TOTAL ENERGIES) until 2014. His experience was acquired all over the world: France, UK, Argentina, Norway, Angola, Venezuela, Russia, etc. and across all energy domains: Exploration, Development, Production and M&A within associations with all Energy Majors like Exxon, Shell, BP, Statoil and many more and with many National Oil and Gas companies.

He then became Project Director of Arctic LNG2, € 22 bn euros, which he started from scratch inside NOVATEK. On this Project, he applied all the methods he developed successfully previously to deliver a Project, which was still on time and cost despite of 2 years of Covid.

This project was distributed over more than 10 worksites, including 35 000 workers across 6 yards in China, 12 000 workers on the production field, 20 000 workers to build the yard in Murmansk, 15 000 work to build part of the LNG plant in Murmansk, with Engineering centers in Paris, Munich, Milan, Ankara, Saint Petersburg, and Moscow.

There were a few thousands of interface points monitored and effectively solutioned and the mitigation plans for each risk and opportunity registered were developed and implemented over more than 1000 lines of critical items.

Jean-Marc has managed many contractor claims throughout his carrier, including one above 270 M€, which he managed to contain to a mere 8 M€ with his team and his strict organization, contract supervision and data management.
